The world-renowned Mexican architectural designer PRODUCTORA has completely renovated the home of Jessica Fleischmann, who has resided in her current residence for over 15 years. PRODUCTORA made sure that they analyzed the grid-like features of the house to place the extensions where the sun would strategically be blocked out during hot summer days. They also stayed in line with color codes and colored the house’s trim a bright blue hue that perfectly complimented it’s pink base.
- The architectural firm took on the project of remodeling the 100 year old bungalow, located in Eco Park, as their first U.S. project.
- A decision was made to preserve the historic flavor of the bungalow, and the already existing basement was further excavated and exposed.
- Six cubic squares comprise the grid-like steel addition added to the bungalow’s rear, close to the building’s original facade.
